Chemical Vapor Infiltration (CVI) is widely used to develop Ceramic Matrix Composites. This method is used to deposit solid materials like carbon, silicon carbide, boron nitride and other refractory materials in a porous fiber structure by the decomposition of vapors.
Thanks to our well established expertise we can infiltrate various matrices with large, complex shaped products. We have developed specific processes to product materials with very low fiber damage and with low residual stresses.
